September 12, 2013: Plantation, FL 33325 In Thursday's non-league game, the American Heritage Patriots (Plantation, FL) football team smashed the visiting Columbus Explorers (Miami, FL), by a score of 42-7.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood, FL). The Lions come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Chaminade-Madonna was ripped by Gulliver Prep (Miami, FL), 34-7, in a non-league game.
The Explorers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coral Gables for a 8A District 14 game on Friday, September 20. Columbus will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 40-6 non-league win over Dr. Krop (Miami, FL). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-0.
