New York High School Lacrosse - St. Anthony's trounced by Manhasset
April 25, 2009: Manhasset, NY 11030 Manhasset Indians (Manhasset, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse team overcome the visiting St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY), 12-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cold Spring Harbor for a Section 8 C challenge on Wednesday, April 29. Manhasset will meet a Seahawks team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Massapequa (Massapequa, NY). The Seahawks record now stands at 4-5.
In their next game, the Friars meet the Garden City Trojans (Garden City, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 28. St. Anthony's will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 17-7 league win over Wantagh (Wantagh, NY).
