The Morningside Monarchs basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Hamilton Yankees to 53 in the Monarchs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Monarchs now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Carson for a non-league contest on Monday, January 5. Morningside will meet a Colts team coming off a 54-52 non-league win over Villa Park (Villa Park, CA). The Colts record now stands at 4-6.
