Virginia High School Basketball - Potomac School fells Pope John Paul the Great

December 7, 2013: McLean, VA 22101

Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pope John Paul the Great Wolves (Dumfries, VA), 55-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Potomac School upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD) to play the in a Mid-Atlantic [MAC] bout on Tuesday, December 10. The go into the bout with a record of 3-0. St. Andrew's Episcopal won 68-44 in their recent non-league bout against St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Wolves play the Seton (Manassas, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 9. Pope John Paul the Great will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 51-32 non-league win over Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA).
