The Notre Dame Prep Saints baseball team (Scottsdale, AZ), was overwhelmed 16-6 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ)

The Lions now hold a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinnacle for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 5. Liberty will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-0.
