Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop Carroll falls to Greater Johnstown
February 12, 2011: Ebensburg, PA 15931 The Greater Johnstown Trojans basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Bishop Carroll Huskies to 62 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Somerset for a Laurel Highlands 2 contest on Tuesday, February 15. Greater Johnstown will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 96-67 non-league loss to Forest Hills (Sidman, PA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-14.
The Huskies (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA). The Marauders enter the Laurel Highlands 1 contest with a 9-12 record. In their last contest, Bishop Guilfoyle was defeated by Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA), 67-45, in a non-league contest.
