January 13, 2012: Middletown, CT 06457 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Goodwin RVT Gladiators (New Britain, CT) and the host Vinal RVT Hawks (Middletown, CT), saw Goodwin RVT's basketball squad knock off Vinal RVT by a score of 51-41.
With the victory, Goodwin RVT improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT) to battle the Owls in a Constitution State - West challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Putnam Clippers (Putnam, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Vinal RVT will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Clippers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 75-72 league loss to Prince RVT (Hartford, CT).
