Tennessee High School Football - Washington drops to Crockett County
October 8, 2010: Alamo, TN 38001 In Friday's non-league game, the Crockett County Cavaliers (Alamo, TN) football team knocked off the visiting Washington Warriors (Memphis, TN), by a final score of 35-26.
The Cavaliers (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Gibson County (Dyer, TN). The Pioneers come into the non-league game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Gibson County was dropped by Westview (Martin, TN), 54-0, in a league game.
The Warriors now hold a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairley for a AA District 16 game on Thursday, October 14. Washington will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-6 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.
