The River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) basketball nipped the host Center Cougars (Antelope, CA), 51-46 in Wednesday's league test.

The Raiders (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Foothill (Sacramento, CA). The Mustangs go into the Capital Valley test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Foothill got by West Campus (Sacramento, CA), 65-55, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host Dixon for a Capital Valley test on Friday, January 16. Center will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 35-31 league win over Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA). The Rams record now stands at 13-5.
