The Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ) basketball nipped the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), 70-63 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Bears (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Westwood (Mesa, AZ). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Westwood was tipped by Mesa (Mesa, AZ), 37-28, in a league test.

The Mountain Lions now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they host Chavez for a non-league test on Friday, January 23. Mountain Ridge will clash with a Champions squad coming off a 94-75 league win over Browne (Phoenix, AZ). The Champions record now stands at 14-5.
