The Hayward Farmers basketball team (Hayward, CA), dropped 51-42 in Friday's league battle with the host Arroyo Dons (San Lorenzo, CA)

The Dons now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a West Alameda County - Shoreline contest on Wednesday, February 12. Arroyo will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 61-49 league win over Tennyson (Hayward, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 13-9.

The Farmers (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Jets enter the West Alameda County - Shoreline contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Encinal ran past Alameda (Alameda, CA), 60-56, in a league contest.
