Game Summary
The season finale / cross town rivalry lived up to expectations! Amador traveled to Foothill for a tremendous Sr. Night and then the match. Foothill was mathematically qualified for NCS playoffs while Amador had been eliminated. But as they say, "When these two teams play you can throw out the records!" Amador made sure that everyone one the team got some playing time. Meanwhile they maintained a tie through 70 minutes. Then, Jr. Mitchell Wilson assisted Jr. Daniel Ferguson who headed in the go-ahead goal. It was a small glimpse of the future one might say. But Foothill was looking to make a impression headed into the playoffs. Rodrigues scored 5 mintues later, with 5 minutes to play. A set piece from a distance was served into the AV box and Rodrigues headed it in. Final score 1-1. Foothill will play next on Wed. after the NCS seedings are released Sun. Amador's season comes to an end with a record of 5-8-11. Congratulations to the players, parents, & coaches. See you next year!
