The Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX), 79-40 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wolves (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Allen (Allen, TX). The Eagles go into the 5A Region I District 8 test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Allen walloped Trinity (Euless, TX), 58-44, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bel Air for a 5A Region I District 1 test on Tuesday, December 16. Franklin will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to Austin (El Paso, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-6.
