April 21, 2012: Colusa, CA 95932 The Mt. Shasta Bears baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Colusa RedHawks to 3 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Weed (Weed, CA). The Cougars go into the Shasta Cascade match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Weed edged Burney (Burney, CA), 10-3, in a league match.

Game Summary
Giving up 4 unearned runs in the 6th inning proved to be the undoing for the RedHawks against Mt. Shasta. Joe Ferrini and Jordan Hillis each went 2 for 3 with an RBI to lead the offense.
