Pennsylvania High School Football - Southern Columbia Area overwhelms Shamokin Area
October 18, 2013: Coal Township, PA 17866 Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA) and the host Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), witnessed Southern Columbia Area's football squad trounce Shamokin Area by a tally of 56-0.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 25. Southern Columbia Area will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Bluejays enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 28-6 league loss to Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA).
The Indians (0-8) will now prepare for their bout against Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Braves enter the Heartland I bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Shikellamy was overwhelmed by Danville (Danville, PA), 45-7, in a league bout.
