September 24, 2011: Chambers, NE 68725 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Chambers/Wheeler Central Coyotes (Chambers, NE) and the visiting Madison Dragons (Madison, NE), saw Chambers/Wheeler Central's volleyball squad beat Madison by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Chambers/Wheeler Central upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Coyotes travel to Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 29. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-8.
The Dragons now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to David City for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 27. Madison will play a Scouts squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Aquinas (David City, NE). The Scouts record now stands at 0-15.
