The Jackson Prep Patriots football squad scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Forest Bearcats to 7 in the Patriots non-league victory on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamar for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Jackson Prep will face a Raiders squad coming off a 40-10 league win over East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS). The Raiders record now stands at 3-0.
