Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD), 56-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Miller upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Rustlers host Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD) to play the in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Highmore/Harrold lost 47-37 in their recent non-league bout against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD)

Next up, the Chieftains play the Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 16. Crow Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record.
