California High School Football - King's Academy prevails Menlo-Atherton
October 16, 2009: Sunnyvale, CA 94085 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) and the visiting Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA), observed King's Academy's football squad defeat Menlo-Atherton by a count of 45-19.
The Knights now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Sacred Heart Prep for a Peninsula - Bay contest on Friday, October 23. King's Academy will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 42-7 league win over Woodside (Woodside, CA). The Gators record now stands at 4-2.
Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA) in a Peninsula - Bay contest, on Friday, October 23. Menlo-Atherton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Dons go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 42-14 league loss to Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA).
