Illinois High School Basketball - St. Ignatius prevails Leo
February 20, 2011: Chicago, IL 60608 St. Ignatius Wolfpack (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Leo Lions (Chicago, IL), 52-41 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Ignatius upgrades its record to 17-6 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to Mount Carmel (Chicago, IL) to play the Caravan in a non-league bout on Friday, February 25. The Caravan go into the bout with a record of 16-4. Mount Carmel won 78-51 in their recent league bout against Leo (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Lions play the University of Chicago Charter (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 22. Leo will attempt to upgrade on its 15-11 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 42-41 non-league win over Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL).
