Kentucky High School Basketball - South Floyd holds off Jackson City
January 28, 2012: Hi Hat, KY 41636 South Floyd Raiders (Hi Hat, KY) supporters were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY), 71-64 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, South Floyd improves its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Raiders host Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY) to battle the Bobcats in a District 58 challenge on Monday, January 30. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 16-3.
Next up, the Tigers battle the Riverside Christian Rams (Lost Creek, KY) in a District 55 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Jackson City will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 0-23 record after their 87-68 non-league loss to Red Bird (Beverly, KY).
