Ohio High School Basketball - Cuyahoga Falls knocked off by Medina
January 30, 2014: Medina, OH 44256 The Medina Battling Bees basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers to 56 in the Battling Bees non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Battling Bees now sport a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Garfield Heights for a Northeast Ohio - Valley bout on Friday, January 31. Medina will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 64-57 league loss to Mentor (Mentor, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.
Next up, the Black Tigers play the Twinsburg Tigers (Twinsburg, OH) in a Northeast Ohio - River bout, on Friday, January 31. Cuyahoga Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 52-51 league loss to Brush (Lyndhurst, OH).
