The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Desert Christian Knights (Lancaster, CA) and the visiting Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA), observed Desert Christian's football squad defeat Boron by a count of 41-30.

The Knights now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Desert for a Desert Mountain contest on Friday, October 17. Desert Christian will encounter a Scorpions squad coming off a 50-12 league win over Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA). The Scorpions record now stands at 5-1.

Coming up next, the Bobcats encounter the Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) in a Desert Mountain contest, on Friday, October 17. Boron will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Silver Knights go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 49-7 league loss to Vasquez (Acton, CA).
