California High School Basketball - Bellarmine-Jefferson trounces St. Mary's Academy
February 2, 2012: Inglewood, CA 90301 The Bellarmine-Jefferson Guards (Burbank, CA) basketball smashed the host St. Mary's Academy Belles (Inglewood, CA), 76-22 in Thursday's league contest.
The Guards now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Bernard for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Bellarmine-Jefferson will confront a Vikings team coming off a 78-70 league win over Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 20-6.
The Belles (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Rolling Hills Prep trounced Lennox Academy (Lennox, CA), 81-13, in a league contest.
