Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Don Lugo Conquistadores (Chino, CA) and the host Chaffey Tigers (Ontario, CA), saw Don Lugo's basketball squad overcome Chaffey by a count of 54-43.

With the victory, Don Lugo upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Conquistadores travel to Chino (Chino, CA) to play the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 9. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Chino 0-0 in their recent non-league challenge against San Bernardino (San Bernardino, CA)
