California High School Soccer - Liberty held off by San Joaquin Memorial
January 6, 2011: Fresno, CA 93703 The San Joaquin Memorial Panthers tipped the visiting Liberty Hawks soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Panthers now hold a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madera for a County/Metro match on Tuesday, January 11. San Joaquin Memorial will play a Coyotes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Liberty drops to 14-4 on the season. The Hawks host Edison (Fresno, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, January 7. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 3-7. Edison 1-1 in their recent non-league match against Roosevelt (Fresno, CA)
