In Tuesday's non-league contest, the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS), by a margin of 10-2.

With the triumph, DeSoto Central moves its record to 17-6 on the year. The Jaguars host Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS) to play the Eagles in a 6A Region 1 contest on Thursday, April 17. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 5-10.

In their next game, the Tigers play the Horn Lake Eagles (Horn Lake, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 17. Hernando will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record.
