Maryland High School Softball - Atholton knocked off by River Hill
April 6, 2011: Columbia, MD 21044 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) softball team overwhelmed the host Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD), by a margin of 15-1.
With the triumph, River Hill moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Hawks host Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD) to play the Wildecats in a non-league contest on Friday, April 8. The Wildecats come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Wilde Lake won 10-9 in their recent non-league contest against Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD)
In their next game, the Raiders play the Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 7. Atholton will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
