Michigan High School Basketball - Vassar prevails All Saints Central

December 16, 2010: Vassar, MI 48768

Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting All Saints Central Cougars (Bay City, MI), 48-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Vassar upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Vulcans travel to Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Frankenmuth won 65-33 in their recent league bout against Caro (Caro, MI)

Next up, the Cougars play the Reese Rockets (Reese, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West bout, on Thursday, January 6. All Saints Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 51-29 league win over Laker (Pigeon, MI).
