Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA), saw Hoover's basketball squad hold off Edison by a score of 64-60.

With the victory, Hoover advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Gilroy (Gilroy, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, December 2. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Washington Union for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 7. Edison will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 53-45 non-league win over Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
