The Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) volleyball overcame the visiting Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Fort Bend Austin upgrades its record to 11-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Katy Taylor (Katy, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Friday, August 24. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 4-4. Katy Taylor lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Bellaire (Bellaire, TX)

The Spartans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Bend Travis for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 25. Stratford will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Katy (Katy, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.
