Louisiana High School Football - Iota can't get by Oberlin
September 30, 2011: Oberlin, LA 70655 Oberlin Tigers (Oberlin, LA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA), 18-14 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Oberlin improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to South Cameron (Creole, LA) to confront the Tarpons in a 1A District 5 test on Thursday, October 6. The Tarpons come into the test with a record of 1-4. South Cameron lost 38-28 in their recent non-league test against Northwood (Lena, LA)
With the loss, Iota drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Bunkie (Bunkie, LA) to meet the Panthers in a 2A District 5 game on Friday, October 7. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 1-4. Bunkie lost 14-0 in their recent non-league game against Elton (Elton, LA)
