September 20, 2013: Liberty, KY 42539 The Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY) football overcame the host Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY), 35-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) in a 5A District 7 bout, on Friday, September 27. Lincoln County will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Maroons enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 54-14 non-league win over Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY).
The Rebels (0-4) will now prepare for their game against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Raiders come into the 3A District 4 game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, McCreary Central was dropped by Leslie County (Hyden, KY), 44-6, in a non-league game.
