Illinois High School Basketball - Shepard ripped by Rich Central
January 5, 2010: Olympia Fields, IL 60461 In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Rich Central Olympians basketball team scored a decisive 68-30 triumph over the Shepard Astros.
In their next game, the Olympians confront the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) in a Southland match, on Thursday, January 7. Rich Central will attempt to better on its 12-1 season record. The Kays come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 43-36 league loss to Rich East (Park Forest, IL).
Next up, the Astros play the Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL) in a South Suburban - Blue challenge, on Friday, January 8. Shepard will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Meteors come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 60-45 non-league loss to Montini (Lombard, IL).
