Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Octorara Area over Bayard Rustin
January 5, 2012: Atglen, PA 19310 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Octorara Area Braves (Atglen, PA) and the visiting Bayard Rustin Golden Knights (West Chester, PA), saw Octorara Area's basketball squad knock off Bayard Rustin by a score of 59-50.
With the victory, Octorara Area improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Unionville (Kennett Square, PA) to battle the Indians in a Ches-Mont - American challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Unionville lost 51-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Downingtown East (Exton, PA)
Next up, the Golden Knights battle the Coatesville Red Raiders (Coatesville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Bayard Rustin will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 75-42 league win over Avon Grove (West Grove, PA).
