The North Pontotoc Vikings basketball team (Ecru, MS), was overwhelmed 77-50 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS)

The Green Wave now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Oxford for a 5A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 10. West Point will battle a Chargers team coming off a 54-50 league loss to New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 11-5.
