The John Hay basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting King Unicorns to 53 in the league victory on Friday.

The now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln West for a Senate contest on Friday, January 21.

The Unicorns (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Glenville (Cleveland, OH). The Tarblooders come into the Senate contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Glenville edged Hayes Vo-Tech (Cleveland, OH), 73-31, in a league contest.
