California High School Baseball - Point Loma loses to Cathedral
April 30, 2009: San Diego, CA 92130 The Cathedral Dons crushed the visiting Point Loma Pointers baseball team by a tally of 13-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Dons now hold a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grossmont for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 2. Cathedral will face a team coming off a 20-0 league win over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA). The record now stands at 14-8.
Next, the Pointers face the Cathedral Dons (San Diego, CA) in a Western bout, on Monday, May 4. Point Loma will attempt to advance on its 17-4 season record. The Dons enter the bout with a 16-4 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Grossmont (El Cajon, CA).
