Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 63-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwest Guilford upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Vikings host Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a 4A Piedmont Triad bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-17. Ragsdale lost 80-50 in their recent league bout against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC)

Next up, the Bison encounter the Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 4A Piedmont Triad bout, on Tuesday, January 31. High Point Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record.
