Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD), 73-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop McNamara upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD) to play the Tartans in a Washington Catholic bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Tartans go into the bout with a record of 12-4.

Next up, the play the Paul VI Panthers (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. St. Mary's Ryken will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 66-12 non-league win over Don Bosco Cristo Rey (Takoma Park, MD).
