December 16, 2011: Montgomery, AL 36108 In Friday's non-league outing, the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Carver Wolverines (Montgomery, AL), by a count of 68-28.
The Buccaneers (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Bessemer City smashed Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL), 69-47, in a league outing.
The Wolverines now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northridge for a non-league outing on Monday, December 19. Carver will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 44-40 non-league win over Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-1.
