The Mount St. Joseph Gaels basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting St. Frances Academy Panthers to 76 in the Gaels league triumph on Friday.

The Gaels now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Spalding for a MIAA A contest on Sunday, December 11.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Eagles enter the MIAA A contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, McDonogh nudged Chavez (Washington, DC), 60-55, in a non-league contest.
