Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) fans left the game thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Hand Tigers (Madison, CT), 5-4 in a league match.

The Rams (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Hall/Southington (West Hartford, CT). The Warrior-Knights enter the non-league match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, Hall/Southington held off Bolton/Coventry/Lyman Memorial (Bolton, CT), 2-1, in a non-league match.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Milford Indians (Milford, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - DII match, on Saturday, February 19. Hand will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record.
