Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Takini Skyhawks (Howes, SD) and the host Crazy Horse Chiefs (Wanblee, SD), saw Takini's basketball squad trounce Crazy Horse by a score of 80-50.

With the victory, Takini improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Skyhawks host Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD) to battle the Sioux in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Sioux come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Lower Brule won 67-52 in their recent league challenge against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD)

Next up, the Chiefs battle the Oelrichs Tigers (Oelrichs, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Crazy Horse will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 10-0 record after their 91-53 league win over Philip (Philip, SD).
