California High School Volleyball - El Monte can't hold off Chino
September 17, 2011: El Monte, CA 91731 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Chino Cowboys volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the El Monte Lions.
The Cowboys (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Chaffey (Ontario, CA). The Tigers come into the Mt. Baldy battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Chaffey was edged by Ganesha (Pomona, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions clash with the Alhambra Moors (Alhambra, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 21. El Monte will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record.
