The Copley Indians (Copley, OH) football edged the visiting Firestone Falcons (Akron, OH), 34-27 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians face the Orrville Red Riders (Orrville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 7. Copley will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Red Riders enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 29-20 non-league loss to Triway (Wooster, OH).
