Kentucky High School Football - Webster County routed by Marshall County
September 7, 2012: Dixon, KY 42409 In Friday's non-league game, the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) football team smashed the host Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), by a score of 39-6.
The Marshals (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Lakers come into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Calloway County overwhelmed Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY), 52-14, in a non-league game.
The Trojans now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ohio County for a non-league game on Friday, September 14. Webster County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 37-0 non-league win over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
