The Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI) basketball crushed the host Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI), 52-28 in Tuesday's league test.

The Vulcans (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Cass City (Cass City, MI). The Red Hawks go into the Greater Thumb - West test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Cass City was trounced by Laker (Pigeon, MI), 44-38, in a league test.

The Hatchets now own a 4-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ubly for a non-league test on Thursday, February 24.
