The Douglas Eagles (Parkland, FL) basketball nipped the visiting Northwestern Bulls (Miami, FL), 55-51 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Eagles (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Piper (Sunrise, FL). The Bengals go into the 6A District 11 test with a 0-11 record. In their last test, Piper was tipped by West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL), 49-31, in a non-league test.
