West Virginia High School Basketball - Parkersburg Catholic ripped by St. Joseph Central
January 25, 2010: Parkersburg, WV 26104 The St. Joseph Central Irish basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders to 32 in the Irish non-league triumph on Monday.
The Irish now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashland Blazer for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 28. St. Joseph Central will meet a Tomcats team coming off a 62-47 league win over Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats record now stands at 12-3.
The Crusaders (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Doddridge County (West Union, WV). The Bulldogs enter the Little Kanawha - North contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Doddridge County trounced Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV), 41-33, in a non-league contest.
